Beastie Boys at Budokan

Here we were, in front of Nihon Budokan, in the middle of January. The day finally came. I might survive through the hash world for this moment.
Tonight’s lineups are Hikaru, Kuri, and I, all of whom are into music in crazy degree. We met up at Kudanshita Station and walked up to Budokan. Our seats were on the second floor, but we got a good view of the stage. It’s all good. We were about to see Beastie boys performance. My heart was racing faster and faster. Was it real? Was I really gonna see them?
When we entered the place, Le Tigre, an opening act band, had been already performing. Three girls switched instruments and danced. Their sound was electro-pop? After short break, all the lights were getting dim. And the boys were on the big screen above the stage!!! DJ Mix Master Mike in da house! He was scratching a dish. I mean literally a dish!! BGM was his DJ play. He moved as his play went. That was the funniest and the greatest opening of a performance that I have ever seen. MMM finally came out on the stage and showed us his incredible movement.
Back track of Brass monkey flew out of amplifiers, then, MCA, Mike D, and the King Ad-Rock in the same outfit rushed out from the back stage. Yeah, Finally!! As you can see the set list below, they performed with their great songs. Could anybody enjoy him/herself more than this? Moreover, they set a band this time. So we saw funky jazz tunes like Sabrosa. The greatest of all, SABOTAGE!!!!! They said “ To the President of The United States of America”. Yes, they are not only entertainers but messengers. MCA’s activity like Tibetan Freedom Concert also makes me think about the situation under which the world is put. Thinking about is not good enough. I must get my ass off the ground. Well, where am I? Oh, sorry. Beastie Boys. What I wanted to say is that Beastie Boys rules.
I am sorry for this long, boring essay, but thank anyone who kindly read this.

Peace & Love
