I would like to write about the trip I took when I was twenty.
The destination was the east coast of the United States. The purpose? The purposes were music, art, food, and experiences. My accompanies were three friends of mine. The duration was about four weeks. The budget? It was not much. The car? It was Mazda MVP, a big van. The season was one hot summer.
Four of us met up at Narita International Airport. This was the second time for me to be abroad. I was nervous a little bit because my friends had been already fluent in English. Therefore, it would be me that had trouble making myself understood in English. We made a deal that we would not help each other in communication people during the trip, otherwise, we were not going to improve our communication skills.
After 14hour-flight, we landed Kennedy Airport, went through the immigration, and check out a car on which we would depended for next four weeks. The honored, first driver was me. Wait,,,,! I had not driven in the United States!! What was I gonna do? Unfortunately, there was nothing much I could do about it, because the rest of us were girls, one of whom had a license. Here we come. We got on a freeway. The first destination was Boston, the city of Art.

On the way to Boston, we stopped by a glossary shop to get a cooler box and some food. I was amazed how cheap food was. Beef and fruits were especially cheap. Then we went to a park nearby and had a lunch. Everything around me, even a bottle of milk, was exciting. When we arrived at Boston, it was 3pm. One terrible thing about Boston was that there were so many one-way streets, which got us lost in the city. After being lost in the art town, we reached a art museum where I met works of Georgia O’Keeffe. The one I saw was drawn in oil. A skull of Buffalo was on center and hung on the top of a dying tree. It was a simple drawing but attracted my attention. I could not help keeping my eyes on it. That was a strange feeling. I felt like a wind blowing from the drawing. I guess I stood in front of it for a whole hour.
